تفاوت های جنسیتی در انگیزش و پیشرفت تحصیلی دانشجویان

چکیده

در سال های اخیر تحولات جنسیتی گسترده ای در حوزه ی آموزش عالی و تحصیلات دانشگاهی به وقوع پیوسته است که نمی توان آنها را محدود و منحصر به تحولات کمی و افزایش چشمگیر نسبت دانشجویان دختر دانست، به همین اعتبار دیدگاه های جدیدتر بر ابعاد کیفى این تحول تأکید داشته و آن را در عرصه ی وسیع تری از پیامدهای تحصیلی دنبال کرده اند که بدون شک بخش عمده ای از این بررسی ها معطوف به توضیح افزایش انگیزش و دلبستگی تحصیلی دختران و نیز پیشرفت تحصیلی بیشتر آنها در مقایسه با دانشجویان پسر بوده است. در تحقیق حاضر تلاش شده است که پس از مروری نظری بر وجوه عمده ی تفاوت های جنسیتی در توانایی های شناختی، عملکرد تحصیلی و تبیین آن با استناد به برخی دیدگاه ها، به این مهم پرداخته شود.
