Abstract
This study, through a fundamental reinterpretation of the concept of *ḥijāb* within the framework of Qur'anic anthropology and the Transcendent Philosophy (*ḥikmat-e muta‘āliyah*), argues that *ḥijāb* is not merely a juridical ruling or a social obligation, but an ontological and existential structure that serves as a necessary condition for the realization of the human vicegerency (*khilāfah*) and the divine breath (*nafkhah ilāhī*) in human existence.

Employing a mystical–philosophical approach rooted in the principles of Ṣadrā's philosophy and Ibn ‘Arabī's mysticism, the study presents *ḥijāb* as the primordial veil of human existence—a metaphysical covering that prepares the ground for the manifestation of the Divine.

The central innovation of this research lies in its radical redefinition of *ḥijāb*, shifting it from a legalistic framework to an ontological vessel for the emergence of divine reality. This fresh perspective opens new avenues for a deeper and transformative understanding in the philosophy of religion and theoretical mysticism. Furthermore, it lays a robust foundation for new theorization in comparative mysticism.

This analysis unveils a broader horizon for understanding the relationship between *ḥijāb*, the cosmic order, and religious anthropology, and it highlights the pivotal role of *ḥijāb* in the process of realizing the divine vicegerency in the human being.
