Among the 3549 patients in this population of unmarried male and female university students in 1389 arranged 178 male students and 170 female students and a total of 348 subjects were selected by random sampling. The data gathering tool was a questionnaire for assessing the validity of the construct validity and reliability of the factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha was used. The results show that religious beliefs and morphological characteristics of the Homogamy in mate selection, there is a significant positive relationship. Results indicate that the standard morphological methods for male students compared to female students of the wife is more important. Religious beliefs of the criteria for female students compared to male students is important. Other results indicate that 38% of the students tend to choose their partners among their ethnicity. Whereas only 26% of students tend to choose his wife from among close relatives. هدف این پژوهش بررسی نقش دو معیار خصوصیات ظاهری همسر - شامل جذابیت، تناسب سنی و تناسب جسمی همسر - و باورهای اعتقادی همسر - شامل اخلاق و ایمان  و رابطه ی آنها با همسان گزینی در انتخاب همسر - می باشد. به این منظور از میان جامعه آماری 3549 نفری از دانشجویان مجرد دختر و پسر دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی جهرم در سال 1389 تعداد 178 دانشجوی پسر و 170 دانشجوی دختر و در مجموع 348 نفر به شیوه ی نمونه گیری تصادفی به عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. ابزار گردآوری داده ها، پرسشنامه بوده که برای سنجش روایی پرسشنامه از تحلیل عاملی و اعتبار سازه و برای پایایی از آلفای کرونباخ استفاده شده است. نتایج تحقیق نشان داد که بین باورهای اعتقادی و خصوصیات ظاهری با همسان گزینی در انتخاب همسر رابطه ی مثبت و معناداری وجود دارد. یافته ها حاکی است که معیار خصوصیات ظاهری همسر برای دانشجویان پسر در مقایسه با دانشجویان دختر اهمیت بیشتری دارد. در مقابل معیار باورهای اعتقادی برای دانشجویان دختر در مقایسه با دانشجویان پسر اهمیت بیشتری دارد. دیگر نتایج تحقیق نشان داد که 38 درصد از دانشجویان تمایل دارند همسر خود را در میان قومیت خود انتخاب کنند، در حالی که تنها 26 درصد دانشجویان تمایل دارند همسر خود را از میان خویشاوندان نزدیک انتخاب نمایند. https://www.jwss.ir/article_12177_07217414eb3fbe24d4e5b6cafb91ca18.pdf
