The present article examines the factors and determinants of students' attitudes toward abortion. The study method is quantitative-survey with a sample size of 384 students of the University of Tehran. The results showed that positive attitudes toward abortion were higher among women than men, unmarried people more than married people, Persians more than Baluchis and Turkmen, and youth under 25 years old. In addition, the results of multivariate analysis showed that the variables of involvement in leisure activities, positive attitudes toward extramarital affairs, and gender equality have an increasing effect and in contrast, the variables of religiosity and child value have a decreasing effect on attitudes toward abortion. In total, these variables accounted for about 46% of the variance in attitudes toward abortion. Therefore, value and cultural changes in Iranian society, especially among young people, have changed attitudes toward abortion. سقط جنین، به‌عنوان مسئله‌ای اجتماعی- پزشکی در سالهای اخیر افزایش یافته است. مقاله‌‌ی پیش‌رو، به بررسی عوامل و تعیین-کننده‌های نگرش دانشجویان به سقط جنین می‌پردازد. روش مطالعه کمی- پیمایشی با حجم نمونه 384 نفر از دانشجویان دانشگاه تهران می‌باشد. نتایج نشان داد که نگرش مثبت به سقط جنین در بین زنان بیشتر از مردان، افراد بدون همسر بیشتر از افراد دارای همسر، فارس‌ها بیشتر از بلوچ‌ها و ترکمن‌ها، و جوانان زیر 25 سال بیش‌تر است. علاوه بر این، نتایج تحلیل چندمتغیره نشان داد که متغیرهای درگیری در فعالیتهای فراغتی، نگرش مثبت به معاشرت فرازناشویی، و برابری گرایی جنسیتی اثر افزایشی و در مقابل، متغیرهای دینداری و ارزش فرزند اثر کاهشی بر نگرش به سقط جنین دارند. در مجموع این متغیرها حدود 46 درصد از واریانس نگرش نسبت به سقط جنین را تبیین کرده‌اند. از اینرو، تحولات ارزشی و فرهنگی در جامعه ایران به‌ویژه در میان جوانان موجب تغییر نگرش‌ها نسبت به سقط جنین شده است. https://www.jwss.ir/article_113887_27f0581de9c50665a89d0a0abf98a936.pdf
